Ignoring gravity since 2012
Born in 1987 in the eastern part of germany (the last german dictatorship to date (fingers crossed)), i graduated in 2006 and dived straight into the movie industrie by working in light and camera departments on various low budget movies. 2007 i enrolled in cinematography at the Fachhochschule Dortmund for applied arts and sciences.
During my studies i started to work as a freelance cinematographer and early discovered my fascination for Steadicam. My first semiprofessional second hand rig i bought in 2011 for 4.000 borrowed Euro and from there went through many years of practise, workshops and upgrades leading to my todays skillset, gear and experience of over 13 years, hundreds of projects and just the finest selection of A-Brand stabilizer equipment an operator could wish for.
